Reinbacher is the best D in the draft. KH is the next Stevie Y in terms of GM.

ASP and Simashev are better than Reinbacher.

Bro your just salty we didn’t get a forward and I get it. But come on… Reinbacher is amazing Defensively with very good offensive upsides. Look at his stats and watch a couple reels. I did that and I can tell you he is the best D of the draft. He has Norris-level tools. He legit reminds me of Seider or maybe a Nemec, but be definitely was around where he was supposed to be. I had him 6th and Leonard 5th. But I do think Zona, Det, Van, maybe even STL really wanted him

I watched almost all his games this year. Didn’t impress me. He might become a Mcdonaugh one day. I had him at 16. ASP would have been nice at 5. He reminds me of Dahlin

We really struggle to look at the 2-way part of a player. ASP is not a good defensive player and that is why he dropped, and I love ASP. Reinbacher has Josi numbers in Swiss, has a very good defensive game, and a good PP QB. I have to agree that I am not impressed with his puck carrying skills, but he will be paired with Guhle or Hutson

Same league same age.. DR 22pts 46gp.. Josi 8pts 35gp.

No reason to go nuts. If we skipped on Seider people would go nuts.

Time to wait and see, fans don't know better than the professional scouts.

But do you really take a player with almost no offensive superstar upside at 5

60 points with A level D isn’t superstar upsides? Reinbacher has the potential to be an overall top 15 D in the league

York is better but i will just say im very high on york so this doesnt mean Reinbacher is bad

Like honestly, I would not have minded Reinbacher at 7. He wouldve been a perfect partner for York and I know he's gonna be a perfect partner for Hutson.

being the "best D" in a draft that is extremely forward centric is not a good thing...

He do not have that kind of potential. I would say 40 points max

Hutson and Reinbacher are literally complimentary. If Hutson is able to pan out, they could become a top 3 pairing in the league

That is just not an argument at all. Doesn’t mean that there are a lof of good forwards that there cannot be an elite D in the mix

That is precisely why it is a good argument. In any normal draft, fine, take a potential #2-3 D at 5th overall. In one of the best offensive minded drafts of the last 20 years, no

Absolutely. Would really excite me as a Montreal fan even though passing on Michkov sucks.

Potential *1-2, that is the difference. I still have to agree that Leonard would’ve been my pick and I’m not changing that because the pick is made, but Reinbacher was the next best pick (ignoring the views on Michkov because that is a whole other situation)
