I like the defensive additions, though I wonder about depth for the playoffs with Gio a year older and Timmins and Lilypad needing to show more than they did last year.
I'm sure the Preds fans will be furious with you for that trade scenario.
Where you lose me is resigning Bunting for $4mil. Same points with third line minutes? Back to drawing twice as many penalties as get called against him? Seems like a big gamble. given that it means having Robertson and Holmberg promoted to prime time whether they are ready or not.

The ship on Murray to Chicago sailed when Leafs used pick #28 last night. That was Hawks only interest in acquiring Murray.

I don't think that's the route we go if we have to move out Pesce. Your RHD gets 5 years younger. Ours gets 5 years older.
