I know it’s kinda petty but Oilers can’t afford to retain a single cent on yamo. For 1.5m retained we would much rather keep him

I don't even want Lafferty but Timmins is worth the trade and both can be buried if need be

The 5th round pick goes to Chicago for them to retain oilers don’t have to retain anything

Timmins + Laff for a 4th? Two value contracts who would make a lot of teams rosters....Timmins was recently a 2nd round pick and looks good...

He won’t be a scratch this year. He is better than Giordano at this point.
