Just need some patience, it's only been 4 years of Yzerman. Holland left this team completely effed and only hit on 2 picks in 3 years of non playoff drafting.

CHI maybe accepts. It's a fine price for a former 6th overall pick reclamation project. But i'm not sure CHI is the team for a trade like that.

I have been patient. Yzerman has been here 4 years and the team is still terrible and nowhere near a playoff team. His drafting has been questionable at best. Seider was a homerun, and Raymond is a 2nd liner at this point, but other than them, his drafting hasn't been as stellar as some people seem to think.

DeBrincat fell into our laps, but Yzerman couldn't get the trade done, and now we are going into next season with Larkin and a bunch of 3rd liners. He drafted a guy with a ceiling of a 3C at 9th overall in the deepest draft in a decade. Danielson was such a low-risk, boring pick. Yzerman loves his 3rd liners, so he drafted another one in the top 10 this year. Nobody ever questions him because he's "Steve Yzerman". All we ever hear is "trust the YZERPLAN" and "patience is key". I think it's time he puts the bong down and actually builds a team that is worth watching. Should be fun next year with Kubalik and Perron on our 1st line lol

Yes. Managers around the NHL have been improving their teams for a week now. What has Yzerman done? He drafted a guy with a 3rd line ceiling at 9th overall, and traded for Yamamoto. The Wings are already one of the softest teams in the NHL, if not the softest. Good thing we added 5'7 Yamamoto to the mix! Then today he added a bunch of 6'4 plugs who will never come close to sniffing the NHL. How about draft some skill for once?

You are a fan of that draft?

The Wings rebuild is on year 8 and is going absolutely nowhere, meanwhile other teams rebuild for 3 years, and then are right back in the playoff hunt. With our current roster, we're bottom 5 in the NHL next season, but idiots like you just say things like "TRUST THE YZERPLAN!!!!!!!" How about Yzerman actually do something to improve the current state of the team, rather than piss away season after season. People like you reminisce on the fact that Yzerman was a legendary player for the Wings, and you worship the ground he walks on. You obviously don't do much research if you are happy with Brady Cleveland in the 2nd, and these other 6'4 plugs with no skill that Yzerman and Draper picked.

You are lost, and don't understand how things work, Good Luck!

Didn't know the goal of a rebuilding teams is to have the highest cap hit of any team.

Alright fair I guess, but we have Holland to blame for trying to extend "the streak", rather than accepting reality that the glory days were done. So what then? Year 6 of "the rebuild"? It's been over 4 years for Yzerman....The honeymoon is over here, it's time to build a team to make a push. Use the Cap space and go for it. Unfortunetely, the free agent market is weak, so it's looking like next year will in fact be another throw away year.

Buddy rebuilds take time if you want long term success. You give so much ****, but you're completely oblivious that this season could've been so much better if Bertuzzi if he didn't get injured twice and Vrana didn't get an addiction. If Nedelkovjic didn't drop off a cliff.

A lot of things that went wrong were not at fault of Yzerman. I genuinely think we would've been a wildcard team if we had all three of these players actually on the team, playing their game.

Again, you are lost, and clearly not worth getting into a debate with.
