If I'm VAN, I'd rather have a 2nd round pick than Hajek. That said, I'd drive Boeser to Manhattan for K'Andre.

Ducks have 40 million in space this year and 62 million in space next year before accounting for Zegras and Terry extensions. They’ll need cap floor money and is getting an NHL ready former 2nd round defenseman for their troubles

Trading Miller would be a huge mistake, he's the 2nd best defenseman on the team. Mikkola is not a top 4 D, you made this team significantly worse.

I don’t want to trade him but I think he’ll price himself out of the lineup since Kakko, LaF, and Lindy will also need pay raises. Trading him for a still “youngish” RW is the next best thing since it fills a need

Maybe instead of spending 4 million on Fast and Mikkola they sign OEL or something as a stop gap to replace Miller but I definitely see us swinging him in a trade for a RW

It just creates another need on defense though. Of all the players you listed, he's been their best. Why trade your best player to keep the ones that haven't found their game? Lindy is good and you need to keep him too. Kakko and Laf? There's going to be something done there at some point.

True but until Bread and Trouba free up 20 million in space 3 years for now we’ll likely allocate the little money we have on those 3 players. Miller is the last tradable asset to jockey money around until the 2026-27 season.

I’m sure there will be cheap vet stop-gaps available for the next 3 years in Free Agency to chew up some of Millers minutes while also giving Jones playing time

Trading Miller is insane to begin with but that return for him is just absurd. Thanks God you're not the Rangers GM.

"Before Zegras, Terry, Drysdale, Dostal, and half a defense"

You realize on Zegras, Terry, and Drysdale alone we will be over the cap floor, right?

And you know we have the most stacked pipeline at LHD in the league already, right?

Clearly not, since you are using the same tired old line "DuCkS nEeD To ReAcH tHe CaP FlOoR sOmEhOw!"

We don't need your help, and we don't need Goodrow's contract.

Bro… You got 1 defenseman making over a million dollars. And most of your D prospects are 19 years old and have barely played in the AHL yet. Drysdale played like 10 games last year. The Ducks will absolutely be taking on some poop contracts in the next 2 weeks. I guarantee it

Soooo you’ve posted like 6 armchair rosters but have 2000 posts… with them likely being mostly ****-posts. Brave of you. Explain your opinion or move-on dude

Wrong — once everyone is signed we will only have around 12 million left to the ceiling. Besides, Anaheim works on an internal budget so I highly doubt it

I appreciate you giving me the ‘Ducks need to get to the floor’ for the day though, LOL

We only have two defensemen signed who aren't on ELCs, congrats.

People said the same **** last year, only contract we took on was Kulikov, and frankly, for $2m, he wasn't bad. He wasn't good, but he wasn't hugely underwater either.

Thanks for playing, try again later. Enjoy Goodrow.

I need to explain to a Ranger fan....or any hockey fan....how good Miller is and how young he is and how much better he is going to get? Really? And you want to trade him for 2 years of Brock Boeser? If that needs to be explained to you, go watch another sport dude. Look at the first posters comment about driving to pick up K'Andre...tell you anything?

I don’t know bro… seems like half your comments say how the rangers can’t afford Miller while the other half of your comments **** on every Miller (and Schneider) trade proposal. You seem conflicted

So for the first time in NHL history a team is gonna field an entire D Corps on ELC’s?? Something tells me we’ll be talking to each other again in a week or 2 when they take on a few **** contracts similar to Goodys. Talk to you then

I have never posted the Rangers can't afford K'ANDRE MILLER. The only times I posted the Rangers can't afford MILLER'S contract was responding to someone trading J.T. MILLER to the Rangers. You need to learn to read.

It's called free agents, or trading for pending UFAs, or trading for someone we actually want. I hear Boston has a few defensemen they want to unload.

Not taking on multiple seasons of a center we don't have room for.
