Not a dump. Chicago wants to gather some of the best leaders available around Bedard. Gallagher is overpaid yes, but Richardson knows his worth goes beyond his productivity. Plus Chicago has a ton of cap space so why not. Gally will ends up on LTIR in like 2 years so lenght should not be a problem.

You can't buyout all 3 of those players cause you can only have 3 buyouts at a time and Alzner is still on the books
