Yeah, this really isn’t close at all for the Hawks. Good row is a cap dump. Jones is decent but the Hawks already have a ton of promising LD. Lad is interesting but he’s been way too disappointing to give up high picks for, and he doesn’t fit the mood for what Chicago is looking for in their forwards.

They can both be lottery protected or whatever conditions necessary, it's mentioned in the description. Not sure what AF is. But you get an actual 1st overall player (whether he's playing that way on NYR right now is irrelevant, he would get the perfect opportunity on CHI to actually develop) instead of whoever you could get in the 2024 draft, as well as a young cost controlled LD, which CHI is seriously lacking in. Goodrow gives you veteran depth and grit at a reasonable price; one that won't get away during the rebuild. It's not like he doesn't play, he's a solid player.

We are extremely deep with LHD young players and prospects, there's a logjam already and nothing to be gained Jones that Chicago doesn't already have in spades.

LAF is simply not worth (2) first round draft picks, Raddysh, a cap dump, and a young player who is redundant.
