Might as well draft and develop over returning to form, dumba was a warrior and played a tough style for his size, so a decent amount of wear and tear and miles on him. Probably better to develop younger and hopefully peaking when the handcuffs come off from those buyouts.

Yes. He doesn't play defense. He was benched for about 10 games last year and wasn't played in the playoffs even though we needed the offense.

Personally, I would love to get Foligno, but the cap issue is real.

Keeping Dumba would be cool and all but not if it means we just give away Addison. I don’t care if Deano doesn’t like him, it’ll be harder to get someone with his PP1 QB potential and ability than it will be to shelter and develop his two-way game.

I think Addison should at least be given a year and then moved if it doesn’t seem to be working out. And at the same time, it’s very possible Dumba signs a 1 year deal like a lot of the UFA pool has, and you bring him back to Minnesota a year from now

Orrrr…they trade Foligno, resign Dumba to a 1 year contract and give Addison another year to develop in Iowa…bringing him up when/if needed.
