Unproven goalies aren't pulling a 40G 1C.

People don’t seem to understand the Bruins go for Two-Way centers Scheifele does not fit the play style or their timeline I think Sweeney would prefer a guy like Danault at 1C over Scheifele despite the gap in offensive production between the two

Swayman in 88 career NHL games has a .920 SV% & / 2.24 GAA / 9 SO and is considered unproven. Scheifele puts up 40 goals once and has only broken 30 goals one other time in his career and he's a now considered a 40G center Huh?

One's got 6 seasons at a PPG or better and a 7th season where he scored 40G. One has 88 games as a sheltered backup and lost his job as the starter this year. Sure sounds unproven. He's definitely not valuable enough to pull down a 1C.

True but Sweeney is planning to get a long term center next summer and unless Elias Lindholm becomes available before then I think they’ll stick with Coyle and Zacha even if Bergeron doesn’t come back

What does his P/GP have to do with him being a 40 goal center? You're calling him a 40G center when he's done it once in a 10 year career. Pastrnak put up 60G this year, but I don't consider him a 60G winger. Chris Kreider put up 52 goals the season before, should we consider him a 50G winger?

Swayman a sheltered backup? Just say you don't know about the Bruins goaltending situation. Swayman played 12 less games this year mostly because he was injured for part of the year. The year before that he and Ullmark each played 41 games. The Bruins consistently would give Ullmark a game then Swayman, then back to Ullmark and then back to Swayman. They didn't care who they were playing against. To say he lost his job as the starter this year just furthers the proof that you have no idea what you're talking about. The plan from day 1 was to give them equal starts, Sweeney & Co said as much during off-season interviews. Guess what's going to happen this year? I'll give you a hint, its the same thing they've been doing the last two years.
