Carrier is a positive asset. Ben Chiarot needs more retained for him to even be a neutral asset.

I would agree with that overall. Nashville seems light on the left side.. do you think Nashville would consider with more retention or an additional asset?

Not getting Chairot gone that easy, I don't think the team wants him gone really, they like his terrible ass.

I agree, but feel like the prospect pool will force the move. I would guess next off-season.

Definitely want additional assets. Chiarot is just not good.

Light on the left side? Josi, McDonagh & Lauzon all have term and Chariot isn't an upgrade on any of them. Plus Stastney looks NHL ready too.

This was completely based on looking at the depth chart, and seem to right hand D on the third pair.

Defense is one of the areas that NSH is pretty sound in. Could it use an upgrade, yes, but on the right side. Not the left
