Let's do some high-level math:

Anaheim is within $8.1 million of the cap floor.

Anaheim has 7 -- count 'em, SEVEN -- roster spots open.

That means that if every single one of the open roster slots were filled by a player getting $1.2 million AAV, Anaheim wouldn't need any help whatsoever getting to the cap floor.

Now, just out of curiosity, how much do you think that Trevor Zegras' next contract is going to be worth? Or Troy Terry's?

*When* they sign the four RFAs, the only open spots are defense and 4C.
