Bringing Girard when you have Guhle, Hutson, Engstrom, Harris, Xhekaj and Struble for a LD spot isnt great.

Girard showed that he can play Right or Left D... and Savard & Matheson game will slowly go down... Predict in 2-3years:

Still no. We can fit Colton at $3.5M and will still have $3M to fill 4C (Ben Myers) and 3RW. We're fine for now.

We have no cap. Teddy B. Is our defensive 3rd line center.We dont have a spot for CD. Not a fit.IMHO.

Xhekaj-Barron

That's 6 top 4 D men, 5 with good size, 3 offensive, 3 defensive, 3 perfect pairs. Brining in Girard just blocks this, I am a hard pass on Girard at this point, 2 years ago I would have been all for this move but now not so much.

Canucks pass. Even at 3M no interest in Dvorak. He’s awful defensively and not that good offensively. Not worth giving a 2nd for
