That’s a hard no from Edmonton in the Philly trade. Sanheim isn’t as good as nurse and he’s severely overpaid as well. Not only that but we have to add our best prospect who’s making the jump to full time NHL next season AND a 1st overall pick? That’s crazy.

I’d have to look at up his numbers from this season but going into it Sanheim was significantly better than Nurse.

Nurse won't waive for Philly, he could've walked in his fa year but chose Edmonton. That contract of his is also way too much, even for a rebuild.

Since Sanheim is from the Calgary area I don't think he waives since he signed a NTC in his ufa year to stay in Philly and also may not want to go to his hometown's sworn enemy.

Briere outright said they are going to honor Sanheims NTC. Unless he requests a trade he isn't going anywhere.
