Canucks aren’t taking on Dvorak, and it doesn’t make sense for us to give up that much for Nylander. If we really want him it’s better to take our chance if he makes it to free agency

Getting him in Free Agency will cost a lot more, being able to give him that 8th year will bring the AAV down. And it's not a crazy amount to give up for a 40 goal, 80 point winger, Beauvillier is a pending UFA, Raty is our 3rd best prospect and the 1st would be conditional on us making the playoffs or him re-signing.

As much as I’d like Nylander, I just don’t think we’re in the right situation to be giving up that much for a winger, especially with how much he’s asking for

100% agree. And we will have to retain money and take back a cap dump to facilitate the deal anyways.

Habs decline. Dvorak is a useful 3C when healthy, Garland is a small winger, payed more as well

It's not enough for Nylander anyways and he is without a doubt better than Horvat

Don't worry, he will resign in TO and all this will finally end.

Well if u do a sign and trade u wont have to worry about the what if

As then they know what hes gonna make

Kind of like LAK with PLD to get rid of the concern extend him then trade him. Same with Tkachuck in CGY
