Marchenko gets pushed down to the 3rd line by far too many non-CBJ fans. He absolutely has 30+ goal potential in a top 6 role.

Personally I hope he or Boqvist are part of a package that brings in a top 6C. Other than that I'd rather they keep em and see if they improve under Babcock and become worth more next summer when there's more cap space.

I believe 'the kid' line played well. Not pushing him down for any other reason than depth within this build.

What kid line? He spent the majority of his year playing with Gaudreau and Jenner.

Boeser holds no value if there's no retention, so Vancouver certainly accepts this trade.

Don't get me wrong I think Peeke is often overrated on these forums but I think both him and Roslovic do have some value while Boeser doesn't, even though Boeser is the best player of the three.
The wing probably holds the least value in hockey, while C and RD hold the most.

Hard to say. If they go into the season without making a move I'd hope either KJ or Laine gets a significant chance to play 1C. They should be past the "just make it work" phase at this point so Boone shouldn't be playing 1C anymore.

Nashville declines this. If they move on from Saros theyll want someone like Sillinger or Johnson to be the centerpiece coming back.

If Boqvist gets moved, I'd hope he's part of a package that returns a top-6 C. If Peeke gets moved, I'd fire him away for a 2nd instantly, a 3rd would be fine. Peeke's value is at an all time high IMO, all he did was prove he's a physical defenseman who can't handle a top-4 role, but because he's big, physical, played a bunch of minutes, and blocked a lot of shots, every team is convinced he's their 3RD or 2RD solution. He's not going to play as many minutes, and thus block as many shots, as he did this past season, and therefore I don't think his value is going to get any higher.

I don't think positional value is the trump card here
