The hope is Bjornfot beats out Englund, Clarke and Spence will be fighting for 3RD.

But otherwise, seems about right. Maybe Danault takes 2c until PLD gets his feet wet.

Would be nice to see Bjornfot take a step after an underwhelming season last year. I was high on him in his draft year.

Same, something interesting to watch in camp is that Bjornfot and Spence have experience playing with eachother more than Clarke, and especially more than Englund. The Kings could also, split up Matt Roy and Gavrikov and have shutdown defensemen on the bottom-4 pairs and play Clarke on the second pairing, Roy with Spence on his offside. There are a lot of options that will need to be tried out for that bottom-4, PLD's line, and the 4th line.

Englund was A LOT of fun to watch when he was called up to the Avs. It'll be a tall task to take away playing time from him. I think y'all are really going to enjoy having him on the team. Good legs, not afraid to get dirty, and a sneaky good shot.

Happy to hear that, he did seem to play well in a structured system like the Avs, which is why I believe the Kings picked him up. We need his physicality, and him being a shutdown player would work with Clarke. But Bjornfot is a 1st rounder who will be given every opportunity to take the spot.

That'll be interesting to see what they end up trying on D with all of the young guys coming up. There's like 1 or 2 spots for 3 or 4 guys.

Clarke and Spence can go through waivers, and since Englund is signed for 2x$1M, it's more likely he clears. Bjornfot is the only one at risk of being lost. But yeah, the Kings bottom pair, no one knows how it will end up.

As an LA native im very excited to go to games this coming season. This team on paper looks like its going to be very exciting as long as everyone stays health and goal tending holds up.

Forward group wise I think you've got it spot on, maybe Lewis gets a little more playing time than JAD but only because his leadership and experience not over his skill.

Defensive wise that's probably how it'll end up but I surely wouldnt mind seeing Clarke or Spence with Gavy and Bjornfot with Roy just to add a little dynamic to the back end.

Goaltending wise I'd start the season with Copley and hope that he could have as good of a season as he did last year. I think they will end up splitting the season pretty evenly between Copley and Talbot.

That's awesome, enjoy this upcoming season! I think it'll be a pretty fun season if the goaltending doesn't disappoint. My only concern going into the season with the Kings is the 3 goalies they have are like backup- fringe backup quality. They should look to trade for a goalie at the deadline again if they have a subpar start which could very well happen.
