Unless their is a 3rd team involved to double retain, no team is adding Karlsson for under $8 per year.

I think the max SJS will retain is 30%.

SJS wouldn't move from 20% during last years trade rumors.

I'm imagining a world where San Jose eats 8 million of cap space for the Carolina Hurricanes and it makes me laugh a little bit.
Could you imagine if the canes won the cup with Burns AND Karlsson?

I don't know, SJS will lose the trade for sure.

I still think it'll be a 3way trade. Picks/prospects to SJS for Karl to team 1 and another vet to team 2.
