    EK to Pittsburgh doesn't make much sense to me at all. They need to get younger pieces. They already have a very good puck mover in Letang and Petry is solid in that regard also. Ty Smith seems to have that potential also. Deangelo would be the route I take also. Pittsburgh has as good of a captain and culture base in the league, so they are the team who can best keep a guy like Deangelo in check.

    Toews is probably retiring. Kane wants to be on a contender. Both unlikely to sign in pit

    I think the Hawks decline, they don’t need more 3 - 6 d-men and the 4th round pick doesn’t offer enough incentive to make them change their mind.
