Description
This is my prediction as to what the rest of the Leafs off-season will look like. Not what I think they should do or what I would do.

Losing Robertson like this would hurt.

1x3.65m for Sammy is my prediction
Sign a goalie for AHL depth - Elliot/Halak/Stalock/Jones - Anything under 1.15m (max buriable contract)
Maybe sign one more depth guy or a guy like Toews/Dumba at 1 x 1m. But those are highly unlikely, so I left it off here.

    Hawks would be super silly to decline this. Robertson dropped 16 goals in 28 games in the AHL as a 19 year old. If he can stay healthy, he could become a very good player. Easily worth the risk.

    He's played a total of 82 games between both the AHL and NHL in the last 3 seasons. He hasn't stayed healthy and a 3rd doesn't make up the difference to take on Murrays cap hit.

    The cap space is not the issue. The issue is we have 4 goalies on professional contracts. We don't need Murray. So you want us to take on $6M in actual cash payments for a 3rd three years from now and an AHL player who can't stay healthy.

    Robertson has no value to the Hawks. So you keep Robertson and buyout Murray. Everyone is happy.

    I figured he had a front loaded contract and was owed relatively little. Turns out he's owed $8M in salary so I've switched sides. That being said I still think a project like Robertson would be a nice add for Chicago
