Description

If they just give away Brodie and Timmins for no return then perhaps they can fill out the roster.
Same goes for Nylander, just moving his cap hit does not improve the team, just allows bargain basement players to be signed.

Put down the phone and back away… no need to panic and give away two nhl level dmen (one -Brodie - being one of the best defensive dmen in the league). Let’s see what the arbitrator awards Sammy. We started last year with a 20 man roster - not ideal, but we could easily do that again this year if needed. Lots of waiver exempt callups (forwards especially) & Marlies are a 20 min (45 min during rush hour) drive away

You're not giving up a first and roster players just to get ride of them. I think Brodie can get a 3-4 round pick in return

Brodie is a top pair defenseman who plays top competition and does well. Why are we dumping him for peanuts?

You're closer to getting Brodie and Timmins for that second with nothing added than with having to add a first. And I'm an Anaheim guy.

For salary cap relief. It only makes if you can bring in someone else. My real issue is giving up Brodie, Timmons, and a first for a second
