Nobody is taking Ceci without a sweetener

And if Tatar and Dumba were okay with those deals they would be signed rn

Got a feeling teams are waiting on the Nylander front before going for these guys

Dumba is not better than ceci I would rather have broberg beside nurse before I put dumba there

Every NHL team that Ceci has played for has placed him in the top-4, sometimes in the top-2. The past two years he has faced among the hardest opposition of any defenseman in the league. He makes just $3.2M for 2 more years, which is cheap for a top-4 defender. I think it's safe to say that hockey people completely disagree with your position.

He definitely is.

Sure, I'd put Broberg there too. But Dumba is absolutely a better player to put there over Ceci any day of the week.

Brodin and Dumba WERE the 1st pairing, just that their TOI was evenly distributed with Spurgeon and Middleton on the 2nd pairing.

Nice stuff. Your link simply reinforces my comments: the stats don't show that Dumba is a better player. Robber agrees with me that Ceci had tougher comp and zone starts, and also leads in categories like hits, blocks and takeaways over the past 3 years.

Not sure what your point was in posting that...

He looked awful vs VGK and is not a top pair guy Holland fell for the Pitt trap and has him in the same spot that he never succeeded at top pair RD. Should be third pair but they don't got anyone to push him down

In this cap Era want to move him throw a sweetener

Again. Every single team Ceci has played for has had him in the top-4. You can continue thinking you're smarter than multiple NHL coaches if you want, but I know better.

And so do NHL GM's.
