Yotes are coming together and they still have elite talent in the pipeline; the only big negative is that hardly any of it is defense or goaltending.

Cooley is an elite talent and he could be a difference maker as soon as this season.

Think about any of these line combos for him:
Keller - Cooley - Schmaltz
Macelli - Cooley - Crouse
Kerfoot - Cooley - Zucker
Boyd - Cooley - Guenther

My favorite would be Keller - Cooley - Crouse

As a totally unbiased commenter, he should've continued playing for the Gophers for at least another 2 seasons...for....reasons.

I'd assume he swaps over after the College season is over.

A lot of puck moving Dmen, but with Chychurn gone, there's nobody to defend.

I'm glad that Arizona selected Cooley and signed him, especially for their fans sake. However, I have to admit, I'm also happy that Coyotes went defensive in first round too. Potentially, selecting Benson or Perreault as linemates or teammates, might have left me a little unhappy.

This team is going to be the Buffalo of last year except with possibly a worse defense
