Minnesota can't afford it, Gustavsson is going to take up most of their cap which is why they are hardballing Addison and offering under 1M if I'm not mistaken.

NYI dont need Addison. You said he's better than Romanov but all the trade does is cause a roster imbalance for a guy whose role is already taken by Dobson.

Dobson is better at LD and Addison is needed for his puck moving ability at 5v5 and he will run a PP unit

Isn't Romanov supposed to be a good puck moving D? I know he hasn't worked out yet but it's too early to panic after a season especially with a player who isn't fully established in the NHL.

The Isles do need help on the PP, but Minnesota needs Addison more. The Isles probably need to improve their 1st unit with a top 6 F before getting a QB for the 2nd.

Romanov is one of the worst puck movers in the NHL. It’s not his game.

It seems like Addison has fallen out of favor in Minnesota. The isles PP1 should be good with Barzal and Horvat full time. Adding Wahlstrom to that unit should help a ton too.
