Habs have a bunch, not Hutson though. I'd look at going for Adam Engstrom, Will Trudeau, Jayden Struble if you're looking for middling guys, but Hutson is too good to let go now, and if you're taking one of the 3 mentioned above, it would be for much less than Bolduc.

I love Lane and by all accounts Cole is even better offensively. That being said, I'm kinda confused why the Hutson brothers all want to be defensemen. Clearly they have what it takes to be forwards. It's a bit strange.

Bolduc is basically ready to play in the show. He would cost a first rd equivalent plus to trade. So no thanks on both.

He isn’t really more nhl ready than Roy. In my opinion, Roy isn’t close to the nhl. And also, Bolduc seems to have attitude problems (see his comments about the wjc). Wouldn’t give Roy (or Kidney, Heineman or Farrell) for him

Patrick Roy (his coach and greatest Montreal Canadien player I’ve ever seen play) seems to have a very different opinion of Bolduc than you so I’m going to trust him instead if that’s ok.

Yeah, Roy said good things about him, but he is his coach. What is he supposed to say? Bolduc is a troublemaker, he shouldn’t play on my team. He just can’t say that. And when you are mad, you don’t publicly call the ones that didn’t take you (cuz there was better player out there) racist.

How is he a troublemaker? He was one of the leaders on team that won the Memorial Cup. I’m not aware of any comments claiming racism and couldn’t find by googling but will take your word for it. Would again chalk that up to him being disappointed and a kid but c’est la vie…

When he got cut from the wjc team, he said (to a French station(probably why you couldn’t find it)) the direction only cut him because he was quebecois and that they were racist. That made a lot of people in Quebec mad. We don’t want him in Montreal.
