Sabres dont need 1 year of retention, and certainly aren't including thier 1st with mitts and upl for 1 year of helly. I'd concider helly for mitts and upl but you'd have to talk my into it. The moves they made (or more importantly the ones they didnt) show they dont have any intention of prepping for playoffs. So whats the point of gettimg helly, if he's all you need to win a cup jets would have got one last year and before.
