I never said Nylander is not worth anything. I would say him and Lindholm have very similar value. The issue with the trade is it's quantity not quality. A player like Lindholm or Nylander should absolutely return a 1st and a top 50 prospect, and probably some sort of lesser additions after that. The value is certainly there in a vacuum but it lacks a top end prospect.

For example would you trade Nylander at 50% for Del Bel Belluz + Ceulemans + Boqvist + protected 1st?

rose coloured glasses much? 4 premium assets is quite a way to describe a B level prospect, a B+ level prospect, 2nd pairing defenseman and a late 1st. Also complete disrespect on Lindholm, sure he is not an offensive play driver but he is an incredible 2-way supporting player. Bergeron and prime Toews were the ultimate example of this type of player, Couturier (before he got hurt) and Kopitar are other great examples of a player that does a lot of the dirty work to allow others to succeed so well offensively

Niemela was named the top defenceman at the world Juniors. Go look at the last 25 players to do so and then say he's a b prospect. Liljegren is already a top 4 defenceman and is only 24. Minten is also much better than a B prospect. It's very clear you hate the Leafs with takes like these.

I see it from both sides here but that’s why I mentioned above. It is a lot to give up but lindholm is a premier 2-way C. He was a Selke candidate in 21-22 and is a season removed from 40 goals. Yes he was playing with premier talent but he would also be in Toronto. We have a ton of scoring talent already but adding his defensive abilities would put this team over the top.

Lilly is the big “top 50” prospect you’d be referring to as he is a former 1st round pick and is already a top 4 dman at the age of 24 (on a great contract). Niemela is an A- prospect (size is probably the only question for him at the NHL level), Minten is probably a B prospect at this point and a late 1st (what you would get from any team acquiring him). This is a great return for him and as mentioned above is probably an over pay but for a top tier player like lindholm at 50% retained, that is most likely the cost.

He has similar value to nylander and if the leafs were shipping him out for futures that is the kind of package I would want in return.

To each their own. I think you are overvaluing your prospects and Liljegren a bit much here. Maybe I need a better example.
IMO this would essentially be the same as me offering
Dube (equivalent to Liljegren)
Poirier (bit more valuable than Neimela)
Ronni (bit less valuable than Minten)

Again I don't think the overall sum of parts is bad, it just lacks that grade A quality piece than 2 lesser pieces.
