I thought Shane Wright could have had 50+ points last season. I think the expectations for Bedard might be too high. We don't see guys enter the league right after being drafted and being stars since 2016 with Matthews (40 goals in rookie season) and Laine (was probably going to hit 40 goals if he didn't get injured).

I think it simply depends on how the Hawks deploy Bedard, do they shelter him or throw him to the wolves and see if he floats, I see 3 scenarios, 1. Bedard does well in a sheltered role, 2. Bedard struggles in a pivotal role or 3. Bedard does extremely well in a pivotal role, 1 probably gets Bedard 40-55 points, 2 gets Bedard like 35-50, 3 gets Bedard like around 70

So that’s roughly 89 points in a full season

There literally isn’t one center on the roster that’s even worth playing on the top line other then Bedard, so sheltering him isn’t really an option

Yep, I'd expect nothing less. Playing with Taylor Hall should help, and Chicago is very bad so Bedard will get top PP time and 1st line TOI.

Considering how exceptional Bedard is, I think he'll be an NHL superstar right away ... I wouldn't guess 100 or anything, but I'd say probably 75-90 points.
