Created by: MTLaveragefan

Initial Creation Date: Aug. 4, 2023
Published: Aug. 4, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Zegras is taking too long, send him a lowball OS which ANA will 100% match, but that walks him straight to UFA.

Just because KH woke up on the wrong foot and to spice up this later half of the offseason.

If it doesn't work... try Laffy. ehehe

What’s the point in adding the offer sheet here if it’s matched?

Showing the price of the actual OS in term of picks. Not everybody knows by heart and it goes to show that MTL could afford it.

Thats breaking ties for absolutely no reason. If its too lowball, you broke a relation for a long time

Why would Wpg make this trade? Hard pass on Dvorak. Secondly, the 2nd round Mtl pic is staying with Wpg, I'm sure it probably be a prospect worth waiting for.

But, perhaps Kirby Dach & Johnathan Kovacevic could change the thinking in Wpg. One should never says, never!!!

Thats the joke - I saw a guy on twitter propose this stupid Aho type OS with Zegras. Made me laugh to imagine KH doing this absolutly out-of-character thing.

For a second round pick? fat chance.

Zegras is like slightly better than Suzuki. And Suzuki is overpayed. Ducks probably dont match that. They get a top 10 pick and 40th and 70th overall around picks for a guy who probably wont hit 80pts once

Huh..? 60+ points 2 seasons in a row, all 82 games played both seasons, 41 points in each of his first 2 seasons, MTL was a basement team for the last 2 seasons while he scored 60+ points, team is only getting better around him, he is currently <10% of our cap hit and that % will shrink with the increasing cap, I'm just not seeing how he could possibly be overpaid.

His contract is ~95% comparable to Jack Hughes & Josh Norris with Stutzle coming in 3rd with a 90% comparable. Are those guys overpaid as well?

So its quite all right for the Habs supporters to constantly make trade proposals that involves Dvorak and a pick(s), but once you see a counter to your offer its "fat chance".

Most trades should be meant to be win/win situations for both sides, but with Mtl supporters its always one sided. In your future proposals make them fair and not one sided (your way). I wait for your upcoming fair proposals with the names I suggested.
