It already is... Necas would need a forward at least as good coming back, and that's the issue. Colorado don't have that (with the obvious exceptions in Rantanen and MacKinnon)

I may be in the minority here but to me that's an easy no for the Avs.

That would be a terrible trade for Colorado. They are not giving up the best player in the trade who is a top pairing defenseman AND a first AND a cost controlled previous first round pick they still have high hopes just to acquire Martin Necas.
