While I agree that this trade is good value from the Hawks perspective, I'm curious how you see the Hawks incorporating Foegele and Lavoie into the lineup? Foegele and Lavoie need to play in the top 9 to be most effective. Hawks don't have any top 9 spots as I see it.

The Hawks have a lot of bodies for those top nine spots but right now who are the true locks?

I see Bedard, Hall, Reichel, Athanasiou, Raddysh, TJ and perhaps Kurashev. After that you have a bunch of guys… Dickinson, Donato, Perry, Foligno, Guttman. I could see Foegele outplaying the majority of the 2nd group and perhaps a couple of the 1st group as well.

Lavoie is still only 22, if comes in and steals a spot on the Hawks great, if not he can go down and marinate in Rockford for another year.
