Description

1. It would just be Pittsburgh and San Jose in the trade for EK65.

2. Montreal as the "middleman" would not reap any benefits from it whatsoever because they would be cut out of the trade entirely.

3. Everything that Montreal received in the actual trade would be given to San Jose instead.

4. Mike Hoffman and Rem Pitlick would still be in Montreal.

5. The trade for San Jose would have been this:

It’s impossible to move any money right now which is the reason Petry had to go back to Montreal as they were the only team with money and not on his NTC
The fact the Sharks took Hoffman willingly and the Habs got paid to do it, is incredible incompetence by Grier!

Instead of someone also making 5 million that would be placed on waivers and sent to the AHL.

When I saw the news I was laughing so hard - like how did KH pull this one off? Does he have Kompromat on Grier or Dubas?
