No. Ceci is a cap dump. Canes have 0 interest in him. Broberg is a B prospect. The famous reach of the Oilers organization. The 1st is nice, but there's nothing here interesting to a contending team like Carolina. They're going to want parts that help them now.

Edmonton declines. Peace's defensive Rels are no better than Ceci's despite slightly easier deployment. They aren't trading Broberg + a 1st for a more expensive player who may or may not be an upgrade.

Holland's history shows that he's never once traded a 1st for a rental. We also know that he refused to include Broberg in a potential Chychrun trade, who is younger and has more term than Pesce. So we can say with 100% confidence that Holland would never make the trade outlined above.
