Owen Beck is more likely to take the 3rd line duties.

ANA will pass. Zero need for more young LHD, let alone undersized LHD

NSH isn't trading Askarov for that package. Especially considering he is NSH's goalie of the future.

Habs never do that Ducks deal. Harris already a top4 D with elite metrics on the penalty kill and was their best all around rookie D last season

Harris is worth well over a 3rd no matter what you think. He's a developed 3rd rounder with success in the nhl already and a bargain contract that shouldnt be a problem in 2025 with control. At worst you flip him for more than a 2nd. This is akin to rejecting a 5th for Troy Terry cause the Habs have too many wingers which is also true but also a dumb reason.

No. It’s not akin to that at all. Lol.

I didn’t say he’s not worth a 3rd. This ACGM just did no research to move him somewhere that actually makes sense. ANA has Fowler, Lacombe, Zellweger, Mintyukov, and Hinds at LD. Teams don’t trade for someone just to flip them elsewhere. If there’s an eager partner that’d take him for more than the third, great. MTL should just trade him to them. ANA serves no purpose in the middle
