It just doesn't make sense to trade Edvinsson away, even though Hanifin may be a better play now and forever.

If Edvinsson were moved, It would be for a far better Dman than Hanifin. A rebuilding team doesn't trade a 20 year old for a 26 year old. Detroit passes.

No interest in trading Greig and even less with adding picks and taking a lot of additional cap

There’s no reason to trade Greig, can’t fill a roster need better than him with his cheap ELC

Just no shot Ottawa does this. Would prefer not to move on Grieg, and already dealing with Cap issues so adding around $8m would be a disaster.

Greig is gonna be very good. I think he will be a very good 2nd line winger plays in all situation guy who chips in 50-60pt in a couple years
