This is shortening the window of the Sens and not sure they have the cap to add both on extensions even with Chabot out . theyd rather keep Chabot

Don't think the Sens would have any interest in age 30 Schefeile and Hellebucyk long term, never mind giving up two first rounders to obtain them.

Not even remotely interested. Even if you take out Chabot.

This doesn't cover any aera of need for the Sens

Scheifele is not the type of player the Sens need/want at all.

Hellebuyck will become too expensive.

Any trade with Ottawa acquiring a goalie would need to have Korpisalo going the other way but in the real world, no chance it happens as he was just signed 5 years.

YES!! This is what we need, to give up a locked up top 4 D man and two 1st rounders to acquire two players that will walk away at the end of the season.

laugh Sens already have tons of Center depth they don't need Mark Scheifele same with Connor Hellebuyck. Zero chance of either committing long term with Ottawa.

People are just telling you it doesn't make sense and why

No idea what "emotions" have to do with it. The reasons it doesn't make sense are pretty "factual"

That being said, I was not very happy with the Korpisalo at first but didn't realized his hip surgery was that recent. He has only played 1 season and did quite well. So I am in wait and see mode. Forsberg is quite underrated anyway so I don't see goaltending being a problem at all. Problems are still the same : coaching staff, management and the way Dorion built the forward group (not enough 2-way ability overall)
