And he was over a point per game for that 15 game stretch.
You told me that Jack Quinn, John Paterka, Krebs are worst linemate then Armia, Hoffman, Dadonov also never pan out. Mtl had to play Tierney. Dach had a 20 game stretch st the start of the season where team was healthy, he played with Monahan, Suzuki, Caufield, Suzuki was over s point per game for almost half a season but by the end of the season there where no one around him. Buffalo was a offensive thriving force. Mtl was at the very opposite. They are building the foundation. Buffalo have started building around those.

Dach had 44 games where is most common line mates were Suzuki and Caufield and put up 27 points in those games. These are just the numbers. Spin it however you want, but as someone who watched plenty of Buffalo games Cozens carried JJP and Quinn early on and at various points later in the season for multiple game stretches. What I’m saying and others are is it’s at least I’ll call it premature to say that Dach will surely have a better career than Cozens. You also pointed out measurables as one of the reasons. I think you can color a lot of people who aren’t Habs fans in the Cozens corner for this debate pretty easily.

A responses, there was absolutely no one of you that have brought anything related to hockey. You are like little children that get pissed because you just don’t like it. I haven’t said once that Cozens was not a good players, Never said Dach is superior. I just talk about Keeping Dach would be a good move. Obviously if you would have ask about it properly you would have noticed that this trade make absolutely no sense for either of these team. Mtl isn’t in a position of trading pick or Dach they are trying to unload Bergevin horrible contract and built a young core just like Buffalo under the Adams regime. Buffalo have just sign him to a very frendly deal, they have no intention of trading him and the asking return would be just to high for anyone to pay since Buffalo valued him greatly.

You have said this. Or at least heavily implied.

Not taking into account that Dach winger where mostly 3rd liner or Mike Hoffman. That is a non sense. You compare players base on points this is new on here . Skillset, attribute all favor Dach. As he reach is full potential not yet but he will be better then Cozen when there career done. Dach won’t always have Armia and Hoffman as winger. Would very like to see Cozens with those 2 maybe that would make something to think about. And by the way you can have the opinion you want that doesn’t mean that other people opinion are trash. This is call open minded, you should try. Having hockey discussion, talking about other thing then just goal and assists without context.

Right here.

Pick a lane.

Crazy how Dach dropped off when he wasn’t being carried by Caufield & Suzuki

Oh wait, no it’s not crazy at all
He’s just not good enough to carry his own line like Cozens did

Sabres say no. Sabres would like it better if 5.5m Anderson wasn't included

Buffalo obviously declines. They aren’t trading Cozens

Lol, keep that dream alive- bc we aren’t trading Cozens

Well maybe Dach becomes that, but Cozens already has and will only get better

I mean, Cozens carried two rookie wingers the early part of the year. It’s not like he was getting Tuch and Skinner. And for the first part of the year, Dach played the most minutes with Caufield and Suzuki, at least according to Dobber.

Lord have mercy. You realize that to acquire high end talent, you have to give up high end talent. Habs fans will freely go out and trade for other team's top players but are allergic to the fact that they have to give up equal value

Dach will be right there with Cozen this year...
First, That is certainly not a terrible offer.
The 7th OA for the 3rd OA, Kidney, Anderson, first and second.
Just to set the record straight Dach played 358 minutes with Suzuki and Caufield (each with 26 goals) as his wingers 41.9% of the time.
So he had quality line mates.
Cozens played 517 minutes with Peterka, Quinn or Hinnostroza on his wing for 51.3% of the time and they had a total of 28 goals, only two more than either of Dach's top wingers.
They have both completed their D+4 season but Cozens is clearly the better player getting only 7 fewer goals than Dach had points last season.
The bottom line Buffalo would not trade a young sure thing signed for a nice 7 yr. contract for a prospect who is only 19 days older than Dylan.
Insults do not win arguements, only facts, and the facts are Cozens is clearly superier.
