Defence isn't much different than last season. Who has much better defence than the Leafs? Look at Boston last season, and where did it get them.

Vegas has the best D in the NHL. They're big and skilled. They just won the Cup. Eliminated Florida who eliminated the Leafs. Toronto isn't the best team in the NHL. Vegas is until someone knocks them off. Pretty much same team coming back next season too. Try again.

Gio is FORTY, schenn is gone, klingberg is a liability and a total waste of 4 mill. Not much better than the dcore they lined up against columbus during covid
