Description
Canucks make playoffs in 2023-2024, but don't make it far. They qualify Pettersson before signing Reinhart and Stephenson to sell him on the vision and sign him. They also sign TJ Brodie to be a stop gap before Willander is NHL ready. They also save 3 million for any deadline acquisitions

Habs just got rid of Hoffman. No way we pay to get "younger Hoffman".

That's fair. I didn't know if they might be interested in him as a reclamation project

Sorry you wasted you time creating a fictional universe where the nucks make the playoffs.

That thought did give me a good laugh.

Enjoy the draft lottery. It will be Alvin's masterpiece as you watch another team win with your traded first.

I like Garland. Unfortunately, Ottawa's got no cap space and still Pinto to sign.

I like what you have done. It seems reasonable. I'm not a big Sam Reinhart fan, but I get where your going. The team seems a little soft too, but again I saee where your going with it. I like Podz on the top line. I like Comtois in their and I like the idea of a Chandler Stephenson type, even though its probably way to much to pay and commit to for 6 years. I'd rather go for a Joe Valeno type who could mature into more, but that has its own risks obviously. Nice to see. So tired of watching guys post a Myers for Lebanc trade or whatever.

Can't see OTT doing this. They'll sign Sanderson longterm then target UFAs with what remains.
We'll also have plenty of prospects knocking HARD by the end of this seasons: Ostapchuk, Jarventie, Boucher, Sokolov...

Sanderson and Pinto will get long term extensions after the season… plus Greig the following year.

Tarasenko and Kubalik contracts expire… they will have about 6-7 M$ (could be more if they moved Joseph) to sign a top-6 forward so I doubt Garland will be the guy they invest on.

Ah that's my bad... didn't read the year.

As the fellow Sens fans have posted above. The year after is going to the signing of Sanderson and going after the Free Agent pool next year.
