The 2nd is hard to part with on top of Hog. All for more Pettersson's but unless they see Soucy as Hughes partner, leaving a place for Pettersson to pair with Hronek, I can't see that happening. I like MP as a player but Hog and a 2nd is too much imo

Canucks could accept but won’t. Also a 50/50. Don’t think Pittsburgh would want to trade him. He would be brilliant next to Hronek though. Only makes sense if Soucy continues either play next to Hughes or continue as a 3rd pairing guy this year

Why would Pittsburgh trade Pettersson? He’s like one of the few complements to some weak defenders.
