Description

You may have to add one way or another to even it out, considered a larger package involving Brannstrom to clear more cap for the Sens but Jets have a log Jam as it is.

On the Jets end improves Center Depth with the future of Scheiff uncertain, Helps with the log jam on D next season. Heinola would have to jump ahead of Morrissey, Samberg and Stanley in 2024. Better opportunity to play in Ottawa and he's waiver exempt this year.

Ottawa get's a Solid former 1st round prospect in Heinola and a bottom six center who could use a change (RFA after contract expires) Also won't have to shoehorn Pinto in for a roster of 21 or risk waiving Brannstom, Hamonic or Kubalic to make more room and run a roster of 20.

Lmao Pinto scored 20 goals as a rookie, and you offer a dman who would be Ottawa's 5th or 6th best LHD and a guy who is at best barely an NHL player.

If heinola can't jump Logan Stanley and Dylan Samberg to play in Winnipeg, how's he jumping Chabot, Chychrun, Sanderson and Brannstrom?

Would LOVE to add Pinto however, I gotta think it'll take a lot more than that to acquire him (not that I think the Sens are shopping him anyways).

Young 6’3 Center yes please and 20 goal mark eclipsed, enough boxes checked for me, if they are serious on a change on the fly retool, should be high on the list of needs. Probably going to take something kind of shiny though. At least need to fill some holes on ottawa, what is the holes there rhd dman and goal scoring wingers on bargain deals?
