If you knew anything about the Sens you would know that trade makes zero sense.

So the theory is that the Sens don't have cap space for Pinto.

The solution presented here is for the Sens to trade Pinto for someone that is older, not as good, and makes almost double what the Pens sign Pinto to.

Could OP please explain their logic? This one stumps me, unless it's a "well, Sens can just flip him or someone else elsewhere", to which I reply, why involve the Pens at all?

There's one other fork in this whole entire thing Rust has a full NMC through 2025 so he also declines this deal

Agreed, maybe you give futures for POJ, but I think you would have to attach at least a second to get someone to take letangs weakling boy toy

A second to take a young d-man!? If anything he would get a third, maybe a second if a team overpays a bit for him. Giving up second rounders are used for cap dumps, and he is not a cap dump with his current contract. Worst case scenario he is a teams 7th d-man but most likely if he were to be acquired by a team they would use him as a bottom pair dman

It's pretty clear that the occidental education systems fail to instill logic nowadays
