lol after opening so many of these ACGMs, it's almost shocking to see such a high % of people really not understanding how the NHL market works or who any idea of players value.
Brannstrom (just 5 months older, 190 NHL games, excellent 2-way metrics last season, 24 pts pace per 82 games the last 3 seasons) >>>>>>>>>>> McIsaac (0 NHL games)
And yet, Ottawa is adding a pick
But oh, I see now, same OP

No I'm definitely not a homer or a troll but I actually figured a way out the Sens could sign Shane Pinto without trading anyone. They would send Brannstrom to the minors and couldn't keep any extra skaters. That would give them a little over two million to sign him.
Yes, because Brannstrom would pass through waivers. Listen, we appreciate your efforts but could you try to actually learn a bit about how things work first?

You think he's getting more than Frost?
Pinto should get AT MOST 1.5 AAV on a 1 year or Dorion would just prove again how bad he is at his job.
Pinto's long term extension could be signed as early as January (3.5 months) and would end up making Pinto richer in the end by earning more in 2024-25 than he would by signing a 2 years deal now.
