Sorry dude but Panarin will continue to regress in NYR uniform. But some fans love him. And bless their hearts because he ain't going anywhere.

Congrats on making the Rangers a worse team with one trade. Kudos.

The most negative fanbase in all of sports. Sucks New Yorkers be like this

I’d rather be positive and curious about Panarin under a new and better HC

Do you remember the Nash era of NYR? Nash cost us at least one Cup with his lackluster playoff performances. History is currently repeating itself with Panarin and no one wants to do anything about it. It's not being negative it's being realistic. You can't honestly tell me that you'd rather have Panarin on this team over someone like Rantanen, Marner, or even Konecny.

You’re comparing Panarin to homegrown players that those teams drafted and developed lol. I didn’t hear fans complaining about him when he picked the NYR to sign with or when the team sucked his first 2 years in but he was still producing top in the league

Let’s try being a bit optimistic this year with a new, better HC and even Panarin himself is pissed off about his playoff performance. Even shaved his head when hockey players are the most superstitious players ever

Don't understand why so many aren't looking forward to how guys like Panarin and Trouba respond in a new system, with (supposedly) more accountability and both an offensive and defensive plan. This was Gallant's undoing- as indicated by many players in their exit interviews.

Add to that the effect Muse may have on several young players.

I guess is more fashionable to be so negative....Seriously- I just don't get it. Sports is supposed to be a diversion from the real world...for those that insist on being so negative all the time- why waste your time? Just stick with politics! lol.

First time in a while the NYR finally have a coach who somewhat knows what he’s doing and a new staff fans are looking forward to

Quinn and Gallant didn’t know how to run this team

Konecny? Please, that is just demonstrating your hate for Panarin. Marner or Rantanen? Fair enough, but ask yourself the question how much success would they have had playing with Trochek or Strome as their centers rather than Matthews or MacKinnon. Those two centers were the best player on their respective lines. Panarin has not played with a better player since he played with Kane in Chicago.

I don't hate Panarin he's simply not what this team needs currently. I do hate his contract however. And I hate that he's blocking our first overall pick from more minutes.

Konecny is significantly younger, puts up a point per game (even on a horrible team!), and is a RW. Which we desperately need. You can't tell me that

Lafreniere - Chytil - Konecny
Kreider - Zibanejad - Kakko

Wouldn't be a fantastic top six. Even better if we substituted Marner or Rantanen in RW1. That's a better top six than the current one involving Panarin the playoff ghost and defensive liability.
