Not close on Miller.

Asking price at last year's deadline was an A prospects, 1st, 1st, 2nd.

Hasn't come down by much.

Columbus declines both of these without a second thought.

Enjoy him then, because no one is paying that. That contract will be an albatross in 2-3 years

A fifth round pick from 2017 with 25 points 77 career NHL games, who was traded from a contender for basically nothing last year? Color me skeptical.

You're elaborating on my point. You just looked him up and have never actually seen him play. He had 8 points in 11 games on a garbage offensive team and was the best player (outside of Karlsson) to end the season. idk why you're even bringing up draft position lol. That's like saying St. Louis was bad because he went undrafted

Peeke is average (at best) defensively over his career and only gotten worse (Being the green jacket winner last season) and has a career high of 15 points in a season. Easy pass

You’re right, I don’t know anything about the player beyond what I looked up just now. Because he is not a significant player who gets you a return in a trade. Being the best player on the post-Karlsson 2022-23 San Jose Sharks isn’t an achievement.

I can’t stand Andrew Peeke. I can’t wait until he’s traded and I never have to watch him make boneheaded decisions on the ice and whine to the officials again. But what he is is a large defensive defenseman who happened to be the only one to stay healthy on a decimated team last year, forced into first pair minutes when his skillset should never be forced into that role. His handedness also means he has more value than a depth wing. I’m all for trading Peeke, but not giving him away for a player who might be middle-six in Cleveland.

I don't know what else to say other than watch hockey outside of your team. If YOU don't want to do this trade then that's great, because the Sharks wouldn't either.

I'd take Peterson 10 times out of 10 even with how thin our RD is
