So a trade heavily in favor of the Canadiens on this post, and on your post from the NYR perspective... you have them buying out Goodrow, which they haven't been eligible to do for 2.5 months now.

No!

Even if by some miracle this trade happened, this team still wouldn't be a playoff contender

Just made a ACGM showing that the Rangers can in fact resign Schneider. You should go check it out so that you can revise this ACGM

Think of what it would take to get Guhle from Habs. Then offer that for Schneider.

If NYR trades Schneider, they're either doing a 1 for 1 for Guhle, or they're asking for Reinbacher.

Because they can't afford Schneider and his bridge deal for next season (2024/25).

Yes I am a Habs fan. Fair trade IMO (Harris plays more minutes than Schneider)

Nope. Rangers can't afford Schneider bridge deall. I did a careful examination of NYR's cap space 2024/25 and a bridge deal for Schnieder is unattainable even with a Goodrow buyout.

Why not he's expensive next year with a bridge deal. Rangers can't afford him even with a Goodrow buyout next year. Why all this love Schneider? he's a bottom-6 in New York

Schneider for Harris ++ is fair. DeSmith is a must add for the Rangers.

Yeah, like the Rangers couldn't afford to sign Laffy and Miller this year and Goodrow would have to be a cap dump.....which was all nonsense, and thinking the Rangers can't afford to sign Schneider next year is also nonsense. They will sign him with ease.

Why all the love? Because he is Trouba's replacement in a year or so. Why all the interest? No need to answer....I know why...and its all the reasons the Rangers are not trading him. Look elsewhere for a young RD.

You have no clue if you really think the Rangers cannot afford a bridge deal for Schneider next year. It's just like all the posts earlier this summer about how the Rangers could not afford to sign Laffy and Miller and Goodrow would have to be bought out or a cap dump and lose a first round pick to trade him. All Ranger fans here said that was BS and guess what.....it was total BS. They got everyone signed and lost no one. Thinking the Rangers can't sign Schneider next season is the same BS, and they will sign him with ease. So, you don't get Schneider, just like you didn't get Laffy. Deal with it.

Bro yes it is. In the agm he is signed to a deal that is probably 1 mil too expensive, and in that ACGM the rangers have 1 mil in cap space and a 22 man roster with Schneider signed

Would you accept that same package for guhle though? Probably not. So why would NYR accept this
