Rangers will easily resign Schneider again

Description
Just saw a Habs fan post the some nonsense of trading for Schneider for a bunch of scraps (again). This ACGM is to show that they can resign him. Full disclosure, I am not a Rangers fan (I really dislike them) so lines and contracts are probably off a bit.

But wait........the Rangers didn't have enough cap space this season to sign Laffy and Miller and lost both to offersheets, right? And Goodrow was a cap dump and cost them a 1st round pick to trade him, right?

And they didn't have enough cap space to fill out a roster, right?

Past nonsense posted on this forum and now it's new nonsense posted by know nothings.

Schneider probably gets 2 years $2m then long term contract when Trouba’s contract ends

Kakko I’m guessing gets 3 years $5m

Lindgren the hardest to guess. Assuming 8 years $4.5m? (Max term to keep the AAV lower)

Trouba gets moved or bought out and the cap going up. Either way it’ll get done.

Look at the long-term tab, the Rags have 23 mil, they will easily sign them. Teams find a way to keep their best players, saying a team won't keep a player is like saying water isn't wet.

24 million is not a lot for half the team (including three stars) when the other half makes 68. I wasn't saying they wouldn't sign them. I was curious what the plan would be and got an answer that makes sense.

Haha no way. DeSmith is a 3 yr / 7 mill deal. Belzile on your 4th line is laughable. Othmann is not NHL ready til' 2026

Next year we are -1m then -6m 14m. Goody 900k ret or Kreider 2m ret for 25 then Trouba 2.5m ret. Possibly Laf or Lindgren eventually

Sign 1 year deals then the next season when trouba and panarun are if the pools that's 20mil right there

Doesn't have to be those players, just guys on league minimum deals or on cheap contracts. Plus I am sure Othmann will be ready.
