Mysak has been arguably better than a lot of the more talented players. If we need a 4th line guy at one point, I'd like to see him get a shot.

He's been solid, but did lack things, maybe like physical and grit that is needed for the NHL, but he is definitely really decent

For me Reinbacher and Beck are above Simoneau but they are definitely the top 4

Give him a D+1 season in the OHL and we'll see?

Long term Pez replacement IMO, but won't have much more than a 4th line grinder

Sad to say, but imo, I was disappointed in Reinbacher's offense, and while he was good at D, he wasn't lights out either. But, it's been only 1 prospect game so I'm not gonna call him out yet lol

I didn't see the game but from what I heard he played a simple game never out of position and wasn't scored on, unlike Mailloux who was scored on 3 times and coughed the puck up quite a bit in that game. I don't mind Reinbacher keeping it simple while he acclimated to the NA game, better to play simple sound defense than look lost out there

ya, I guess that if he just is sound defensively it's good enough for now. But I do want to see that O game improve a bit in the next 5 years. Mailloux is a beast offensively, especially today against the Bs, but I swear this guy is still at Bantam level D (exaggerating a bit, but you get the point). He will need a defensive superstar in the NHL, so if he is with Guhle, I think it can still work out

Those ranking and what you said are off

- Best players and most ready (even if they ain’t) :

- Owen Beck
- William Trudeau
- Jayden Struble

- Players who did decent :

- Joshua Roy
- David Reinbacher
- Jan Mysak
- Xavier Simoneau
- Miguel Tourigny

- Disappointing players :

- Logan Mailloux
- Filip Mesar
- Sean Farrell
- Riley Kidney

Emil Heineman was good in the 1st game & bad in the second game

But the worse players are definitely Ortiz, McKay & Dufort
Holy **** those guys are garbage

I'm not going to say that I was avidly watching those games, I just put them in the background, but imo, Roy was the best, especially today. He just felt more dynamic than most of the players. Heineman was kind of rough today, but whatever he was good against Buffalo, which was a better team. This shows that he may lack consistency in the beginning of his NHL career, but imo not too worry. Beck was solid at cleaning things up but didn't flash.

Roy is invisible 99% of the games
But when he does something it ends up in the back of the net so he gets points & people think he is good. He has talent, but he gotta make an effort

He's at the right place at the right time. Lowkey looks like a big Gally in terms of offensive play style, but I think he has more skills

They are like completely the opposite
Gallagher has zero talent, only heart
Roy has talent, zero heart

IK you would say something around those lines, but look at the way Roy was roaming around the net in the O Zone. Its a different “way” of scoring if tou want to put it like that, one scores with grit, the other with skills, but it does lead to similar goals and a similar on ice role for a team

Montreal fans are the worst at judging talent.

Slaf is a bust.
Suzuki is a third liner.
Dach is a third liner.

You are litterally building a team with 9 3rd liners and a few AHLers as your core.
This is worse than peak Buffalo/Edmonton.

What you doing? Waiting for the next Bedard?

Are you assuming my identity? I'm going to report you. This is bigotted behaviour.

Funny that you have the same profil pic as and username as this account, who is a respected person on this site
