Laughton is under contract for three more seasons, and Walker is essentially just a tag on. Not likely to happen but he would be team controlled and only cost 1.5 million for a solid 3rd line center.

Overpay. Pinto is a glorified 13th forward with limited upside.

His career point totals are 7, 1, 35. On average he gets about 14 points a season. Ryan Reaves can get more. Most overrated prospect in history.

I wouldn't go that far. Guy shows middle six potential and has only 1 full season under his belt while only being 22. He's got high upside but people want a king's ransom for him and that just isn't worth paying.


He'll likely be a 20-25 goals a season player with a typical 40-60 point total each year. Good for any middle six but not an earth-shattering star player.
