Barron on the Habs could also be a good option

I don’t really understand why Brink? He will be on the flyers by Thanksgiving more than likely lol and the only reason he isn’t yet is because of injuries he has dealt with the last two seasons. Not sure how a change of scenery would have prevented his injuries

Too soon to say Holtz needs a change of scenery. That said, we already got rid of anyone who actually did. I'd argue that it's Casey that most needs a change of scenery, be that a trade to team where he's a top RD prospect or a change of position to where he has less competition.

Beecher is fine where he is. I would put Steen or Zboril for the Bruins.

Wasn’t easy to find someone on Flyers. My thinking on Brink was that Tippett and Foerster have likely passed him on depth chart…and he is less useful on checking line.

Both seem to fit. I feel like Zboril was on a lot of these types of lists last year when their blueline was more crowded. Could see Steen or Lauko there too.

Tippett I believe will eventually transition to a LW for the Flyers. They tried him there a bunch last season. I also believe Atkinson and TK split some games at LW too even tho Atkinson was injured for most of the year. My change of scenery candidate would be Zamula for young guy or Sandstrom for non-prospect/young guy. Zamula seems to be behind a bunch of guys now and is no longer waiver exempt but could be a useful 3rd pairing guy with the right minutes. Sandstrom is like the 4th string goalie at this point and by next year will probably be 5th or 6th string. He could be a decent back up elsewhere but not the 1B type. Forward wise it’s 100% Allison. The dude could be a real solid bottom 6 guy but because of injuries Torts just seems to favor other players now.

Why Kylington? He was out for a year but amazing the year before. I'd argue Vladar is the biggest one for CGY

Vladar is more of a candidate for the “about to get displaced” list, no?

With how iffy he has been, I'd say both would work

The only change of scenery Perunovich needs is to stay out of the doctor's office.

I would say McMichael or Alexeyev are far more likely to be a change of scenery player than Lapierre, who's really just taking the natural development path right now. A lot of Caps fans are quick to give up on him despite the fact he's only 21 because they saw him have his cup of coffee in the NHL and immediately expected him to be amazing the following year, but he's been fine going through his development despite being slightly being forced to go back to the Q when he was clearly too good for it.

While I have a lot of faith in both McMichael and Alexeyev, they're much better fits for this scenario, both have had multiple years in the NHL and have failed to stick, whether that be due to a lack of opportunities or a logjam of forwards ahead of both, or a stubborn coach (or all 3 if you're Alexeyev!)
