Necas or Jarvis would need Stutzle or Tkachuk coming back, funny though.
I'm sorry but that's a homer take if I have ever seen one. It would be in the same fashion as saying Pinto or Greig need Aho or Svechnikov coming back (of course you'll get up in arms for this)

Pinto's becoming majorly overrated. He's fine, but he's not showing any major upside right now. His analytics are average. He's below replacement offensively. The entire idea would be he's a sheltered 4C on a good team. A quick look at his counting totals during his development show you that he's never had that kind of offensive upside. If you also want to act like he didn't shoot at 12%, that's fine too. He's going to regress if nothing changes. He could take a step defensively because he's always been strong in his own end, that's fair, but he's never been good going forward. At any level.
That's because you have no idea of what type of player he is going to be. Guys like Philip Danault and Anthony Cirelli are not seen as offensive juggernauts, are they? No, they're just extremely valuable 2-way ~0.6 PPG centers that coaches love like their own kids
His stats during his 22 y/o rookie season after missing a full season and put in a very hard situation with Norris injury are irrelevant

Ottawa wouldn't pay the price Carolina want for a Pesce deal. It would need to be like JBD (I think he's still waiver exempt, if not it would need to be someone who is), 2024 1st, and Kleven or someone like that. A cap dump Joseph is not doing anything, Brannstrom is a meh 3rd pairing D man at this point, and Lassi Thomson is nice, but he's not waiver exempt and the Canes have 9 better defensemen than him right now.
So Kleven + JBD + 1st for Pesce? I'm sorry but Pinto + Brannstrom + Thomson + Joseph is almost as valuable...
And the fact that you say "
Brannstrom is a meh 3rd pairing D man at this point" shows your ignorance about Ottawa. He wrecked the 3rd pairings last season and his advanced stats show that he could also do very well in a 2nd pairing role. The thing is that he actually did it in the reality when Chabot was injured and he was playing more difficult minutes
Anyway, doubt the Sens have any interest in trading Kleven, like Pinto
Remember, this is YOUR ACGM, not from a Sens fan

You have the guts to compare Pinto to Jarvis, which is bold... Jarvis is one of the best young talents in the league that can play both C and Wing. He's already got multiple 40 point seasons under his belt, one in which he may have reached the 50 point mark had he played every game. Pinto has 36 NHL points in his career. Pinto's also older... they are not comparable.
Not only you can't get simple facts straight (Pinto has 43 pts) but it seems that you need to be explained literally everything.
- No, I did NOT make a direct comparison
- Pinto is a 6'2 Center, Jarvis is a 5'10 Winger. Position and size always add value, I don't make the rules. Jarvis did not play center last season and doubtful he ever will
- While Jarvis is going to have better offensive numbers, Pinto will provide other elements
- I was NOT comparing the players, I was comparing the packages.
- First off, Kubalik > Martinook
- The 2 picks from Ottawa in my example are also more valuable than the 2 Canes picks in your ACGM, unless you think the Sens are going to finish ahead of the Canes?
Ottawa and their fans do NOT want to trade Pinto, IF they would, then it would have to be for a piece we want MORE, like Necas, Jarvis or Pesce. But you totally missed that point it seems.
